Suspect On Loose After Armed Robbery At Route 44 Mobil Station

Police are searching for an armed robber who held up an area Mobil gas station at gunpoint and then fled.

The incident took place around 8:50. p.m., Tuesday, April 30, at the Mobil gas station/convenience store located at 1415 State Route 44 in the town of Pleasant Valley, said Trooper AJ Hicks.

Investigators from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation are asking for the assistance of the public to gather additional information.

Anyone who may have been in the area of the Mobil station on Route 44 near Timothy Heights Road around the time of the robbery, who noticed any suspicious people or vehicles in the area is asked to contact the New York State Police at (845) 677-7300. Reference case # 8887753.
